VA Expands Health Benefits

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has expanded health care benefits to previously ineligible veterans. On June 15, 2009, the VA relaxed income restrictions on enrollment for health benefits. While the consideration of income has not been removed, the new regulations increase the income thresholds, allowing more veterans to be eligible for health benefits.
